SURVEY ANALYTICS: A CASE STUDY FOR HR
This is a case study of a retail company with multiple branches that wanted to discover the relation between training effectiveness and performance.
BACKGROUND
To validate the results from a recent audit, they wanted to find out from the perspective of the retail associates if these tools and training programs were effective and if the programs they attended had any correlation to their performance metrics at the store.
The company was expanding quickly and they wanted to make sure that they were investing in the right tools and programs for their associates that deliver their desired results.
WHAT WE DID
Working closely with the company, lloopp designed a brief survey and set-up a survey instrument to measure associates’ perception on the importance and familiarity with the different work tools, the recency of their attendance in the training programs, their recall of the concepts. Data on store performance metrics was also collected.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
From the findings of the survey, the company was able to identify what tools to further enhance and educate their employees about including key improvements in their program content in terms of relevance.
They also identified opportunities to work with functions across the company to ensure that programs being delivered by departments such as HR, Finance, Quality and Operations truly made an impact on associates as evidenced by actual performance results.
